Thompson Technique
Thompson Technique uses a specialized table that allows for the doctor to gently and safely restore motion to locked and injured spinal vertebrae and to free up the nervous system thereby allowing the person to function at their optimal health. With this technique there is no awkward twisting of the patients body and the technique is performed with the patient comfortably laying on their back or belly.
Gonstead & Diversified Techniques
Gonsteadt and Diversified technique utilizes a hand on approach whereby the doctor will use the persons body as a fulcrum to gently create motion in the locked or injured vertebrae to restore normal motion, nerve function and overall health and wellness to the spine. The patient may feel and hear a slight pop which is siply gases being released in the joint capsule, this is called cavitation. The adjustments are safe and gentle and most people report immediate improvement with their symptoms.
Spinal Decompression
Special traction tables are used for spinal decompression. This technique has been shown to have great therapeutic benefit for people suffering with slipped, bulged or herniated disc. Sciatic leg pain and numbness, arm pain and numbness, neck pain and low back pain all greatly improved with this treatment. It is sometimes known as non-surgical disc treatment and has been shown to have a better outcome than most surgeries for disc related problems to the spine.
Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder is a condition that affecting the shoulder whereby the person feels severe shoulder pain and the inability to lift the shoulder or move the shoulder through its normal range of motion. We specialize in a specific technique that utilizes soft-tissue work to release the shoulder freeing it up to move as it should and decreasing the pain. Results can be felt upon the first treatment. Average treatment ranges from 4-10 treatments depending on the severity of the condition.
Webster Technique
Often mis-identified as a breech turning technique, the webster technique is designed to help reduce in-utero constraint caused by misaligned pelvic bones and or over tight round ligaments that women may develop during their pregnancies. By releasing in-utero constraint babies that are in the breech position will often shift out of the breech presentation and move to a head down position preparing for the birth process. Results improve the earlier expectant mothers seek treatment.
